Observe how intercultivation controls weeds and manages soil between rows without damaging the crop. Identify crop stage, row spacing, root spread and soil moisture before choosing a hand or mechanical tool. Use only the instructor-approved demonstration strip and trained operation.

Counts must refer to the same defined assessment method; a visual impression cannot replace measured data.
