Women’s development includes capabilities, livelihoods, access to services, safety, representation and influence over decisions. Empowerment involves agency and control, not merely being named as a beneficiary. In agriculture, identify who performs tasks, who receives information and who controls income and assets. Avoid assuming all women have the same needs or resources.

महिला विकास में क्षमता, आजीविका, सेवाएँ, सुरक्षा, प्रतिनिधित्व और निर्णय में प्रभाव शामिल हैं। सशक्तिकरण में निर्णय शक्ति तथा नियंत्रण है, केवल लाभार्थी के रूप में नाम होना नहीं। खेती में काम कौन करता, जानकारी किसे मिलती और आय-संपत्ति पर नियंत्रण किसका है, जाँचें। सभी महिलाओं की जरूरत और संसाधन समान न मानें।

RMK means Rashtriya Mahila Kosh, established in 1993 as a national credit-related mechanism for poor women in the informal sector, historically working through intermediary organisations. Its syllabus importance is access to finance alongside enterprise capability. Study this as a historical programme; it is not an invitation to apply or a statement that its old lending arrangements remain available. Credit is repayable finance, not automatically a grant.

Schedule accessible training, recognise unpaid work, include women in demonstrations and leadership, provide suitable language and follow-up, and link skills with market opportunity. Assess participation, learning, decision-making, income control and workload. An increase in work without increased control may not mean empowerment. Use direct feedback from participants rather than relying only on a group office-bearer.

सुलभ समय, अवैतनिक काम की पहचान, प्रदर्शन और नेतृत्व में भागीदारी, उचित भाषा, अनुवर्तन तथा कौशल-बाजार संबंध रखें। भागीदारी, सीखना, निर्णय, आय पर नियंत्रण और कार्यभार जाँचें। नियंत्रण बढ़े बिना काम बढ़ना सशक्तिकरण नहीं माना जा सकता। केवल पदाधिकारी नहीं, प्रतिभागियों से सीधे प्रतिक्रिया लें।
