Keep source, date, method and treatment records. Rogue unsuitable material according to nursery standards rather than quietly mixing it with good plants.

Protect fresh propagules from excessive desiccation while providing drainage/aeration. Gradually acclimatize established plants to field light and moisture conditions. Remove rootstock suckers where appropriate and check graft unions. A tall weak plant is not necessarily a quality nursery plant.
