Extension administration organises people, authority, resources and procedures to achieve educational objectives. It concerns policy implementation, coordination, accountability and service quality. Management emphasises planning and organising operations; administration often emphasises institutional direction and arrangements, though usage overlaps. Neither should be reduced to paperwork or issuing orders.

प्रसार प्रशासन शैक्षिक उद्देश्य के लिए व्यक्ति, अधिकार, संसाधन और प्रक्रिया व्यवस्थित करता है। नीति क्रियान्वयन, समन्वय, जवाबदेही और सेवा गुणवत्ता इसमें आते हैं। प्रबंधन संचालन की योजना-संगठन तथा प्रशासन संस्थागत दिशा-व्यवस्था पर जोर दे सकता है, पर शब्दों का प्रयोग मिलता है। दोनों केवल कागजी काम या आदेश देना नहीं।

POSDCORB is a memory aid for Planning, Organising, Staffing, Directing, Coordinating, Reporting and Budgeting. Planning sets objectives; organising assigns work and authority; staffing develops suitable personnel; directing guides performance; coordinating aligns efforts; reporting communicates progress; budgeting links resources with the plan. These functions interact and recur rather than forming one rigid one-way sequence.

POSDCORB में नियोजन, संगठन, कार्मिक व्यवस्था, निर्देशन, समन्वय, प्रतिवेदन और बजट आते हैं। नियोजन उद्देश्य, संगठन काम-अधिकार, कार्मिक व्यवस्था उचित कर्मचारी, निर्देशन मार्गदर्शन, समन्वय प्रयासों का मेल, प्रतिवेदन प्रगति और बजट संसाधन जोड़ता है। ये जुड़े और बार-बार होने वाले कार्य हैं, कठोर एकतरफा क्रम नहीं।

Clarify objectives, duties, authority and responsibility. Maintain appropriate delegation, a workable span of supervision, communication, cooperation, fairness and accountability. Unity of command concerns clear reporting responsibility; coordination still requires working across departments. Delegating a task does not remove the need for support, review and accountability. Structures should serve field needs, not only administrative convenience.

For a training event, prepare a responsibility matrix covering content, invitations, accessibility, materials, finance, teaching and follow-up. Check conflicts in timing, duplicate activity and missing resources. Record decisions and adjust transparently when conditions change. Judge administrative performance by useful and equitable delivery, not the volume of reports alone.
