Study how an organisation serves members or a community through governance, services and learning. Distinguish an NGO, a farmer organisation and the locally verified legal form of an FPO.

Step 1 / चरण 1
Read the organisation’s stated purpose and confirm whom it serves. Ask about membership, leadership and decision procedures.
घोषित उद्देश्य और सेवा पाने वाला समूह जाँचें। सदस्यता, नेतृत्व और निर्णय प्रक्रिया पूछें।
Step 2 / चरण 2
Trace one service such as training, aggregation or marketing: inputs, activity, member contribution and expected benefit.
प्रशिक्षण, एकत्रीकरण या विपणन जैसी एक सेवा के संसाधन, काम, योगदान और अपेक्षित लाभ समझें।
Step 3 / चरण 3
Ask members, not only office-bearers, about access, quality and challenges where participation is voluntary. Cross-check public evidence.

Summarise governance strengths, service gaps and extension linkages. State what was observed, reported or not verified.

Do not assume every FPO is a producer company or that registration guarantees performance. Do not publish confidential accounts or contracts from the visit.
