T&V organised extension around regular staff training, scheduled field visits, a clear chain of responsibility and links with research and subject specialists. Contact farmers were expected to help spread messages. Strengths included technical updating and predictable contact. Limitations included top-down messages, cost, weak feedback and unequal reach when contact-farmer selection was narrow. It is a historical organisational model, not a universal current timetable.

टी एंड वी में नियमित कर्मचारी प्रशिक्षण, तय क्षेत्र भ्रमण, स्पष्ट जिम्मेदारी और अनुसंधान तथा विषय विशेषज्ञ से संपर्क था। संपर्क किसानों के माध्यम से संदेश फैलने की अपेक्षा थी। तकनीकी अद्यतन और नियमित संपर्क लाभ थे। ऊपर से संदेश, लागत, कमजोर प्रतिक्रिया तथा सीमित संपर्क-किसान चयन से असमान पहुँच सीमाएँ थीं। यह ऐतिहासिक संगठन मॉडल है, आज का सार्वभौमिक समय-सारणी नियम नहीं।

IADP means Intensive Agricultural District Programme: coordinated support and a package of practices in selected districts. IAAP means Intensive Agricultural Area Programme: a broader area-based intensive approach. HYVP means High Yielding Varieties Programme: improved varieties linked with complementary inputs and management. Their central lesson is that seed, water, nutrients, credit, knowledge and services interact; distributing one item alone is not the whole package.

IADP सघन कृषि जिला कार्यक्रम है, जिसमें चुने जिलों में समन्वित सहायता और कृषि क्रियाओं का पैकेज था। IAAP सघन कृषि क्षेत्र कार्यक्रम तथा HYVP अधिक उपज देने वाली किस्मों का कार्यक्रम है, जिसमें पूरक आदान और प्रबंधन महत्वपूर्ण थे। सीख है कि बीज, पानी, पोषण, ऋण, ज्ञान और सेवाएँ जुड़े हैं; एक वस्तु बाँटना पूरा पैकेज नहीं।

ND means National Demonstrations, showing the production potential of recommended technology. ORP means Operational Research Project, studying operational problems in a wider farming context. IVLP means Institution–Village Linkage Programme, emphasising assessment and refinement with villages. KVK means Krishi Vigyan Kendra: technology assessment, demonstration and capacity development are central roles. ICAR records the first KVK at Puducherry in 1974. These terms describe different functions, not interchangeable labels.

ND राष्ट्रीय प्रदर्शन है, जो अनुशंसित तकनीक की उत्पादन क्षमता दिखाता है। ORP परिचालन अनुसंधान परियोजना, व्यापक कृषि परिस्थिति में समस्याएँ समझती है। IVLP संस्थान–ग्राम संपर्क कार्यक्रम, गाँव के साथ आकलन और परिष्करण पर जोर देता है। KVK कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र है, जिसकी मुख्य भूमिका तकनीकी आकलन, प्रदर्शन और क्षमता विकास है। ICAR के अनुसार पहला KVK 1974 में पुदुच्चेरी में था। ये अलग कार्य हैं, समानार्थी नाम नहीं।

NATP is the National Agricultural Technology Project; NAIP is the National Agricultural Innovation Project. Study their research, institutional and partnership orientations rather than confusing either with a single farmer subsidy. To compare programmes, use objective, unit of operation, institutions, farmer participation and feedback. Distinguish the date of approval, launch and implementation when historical sources use different milestones; avoid memorising unsupported dates.
